DescriptionGood Morning,

We’ve been made aware of a supplier outage affecting DSL, EFM, EAD, EoFTTC and FTTC services in the following geographic areas:

 

Milton Keynes

Peterborough

Kings Lynn

Norwich

Ipswich

Colchester

(services in the surrounding areas may also be impacted)

 

Our suppliers have logged this as a P1 incident and are currently working amongst themselves to rectify the issue as swiftly as possible and will be providing regular updates throughout, to which we’ll provide follow-on posts accordingly.

Good Morning,


Our suppliers have now fully resolved their Major Incident following confirmation that the root cause had been cleared; the root caused has been published as follows:


“Our Network Support has raised a case with the vendor as there appeared to be an issue between the interface cards in the NGE router and the backplane (which facilitates data flow from the interface cards through the NGE).”


All previously affected customers have been observed to be online & stable for the past 3 hours and to that end, we’ve marked our associate MI as resolved too.


Any customers who still have latent concerns regarding their service, are advised to contact the Timico Service Desk at their earliest convenience.
